This Privacy Policy describes how MyNaksh, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information about you when you access or use our website at mynaksh.co, our design platform, and any related services (collectively, the "Services"). Please read this policy carefully. By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described herein.
Information You Provide Directly. When you register for an account, we collect your name, email address, company name, job title, and password. When you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect billing information including payment card details, billing address, and VAT or tax identification numbers where applicable. Payment card data is processed by our payment processor and is not stored on our servers. When you contact our support team or submit feedback, we retain the contents of that communication along with your contact details.
Information Collected Automatically. When you use our platform, we automatically collect certain technical information, including: your IP address and approximate geographic location derived from it; browser type, version, and operating system; device identifiers; pages and features you access and the time spent on each; referring URLs; and error logs. We collect this information through server logs, cookies, and similar tracking technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.
Design Content and User-Generated Data. Our platform stores design files, assets, comments, annotations, version history, and other content you create, upload, or share while using the Services. This content remains yours — we process it only as necessary to provide the Services and as described in this policy.
Information from Integrations. If you connect third-party services (such as Slack, Jira, GitHub, or Google Drive) to your MyNaksh account, we receive information from those services as authorized by your account settings. The information received depends on the permissions you grant and the third party's policies.
Team and Collaboration Data. When you invite colleagues to your workspace, we collect their email addresses to send invitations. We retain records of which users have access to which projects and what actions they have taken within your workspace for security and audit purposes.
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your design content to train machine learning models without your explicit consent.
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data under one of the following legal bases: (a) Contract Performance — processing necessary to provide the Services you have contracted for; (b) Legitimate Interests — processing for security, fraud prevention, analytics, and service improvement, where our interests are not overridden by your rights; (c) Legal Obligation — processing required by applicable law; or (d) Consent — where you have given explicit consent, such as for marketing communications or optional analytics cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Service Providers. We share information with third-party vendors and service providers who process data on our behalf, including cloud infrastructure providers, payment processors, email delivery services, analytics providers, and customer support platforms. All service providers are contractually required to process data only as instructed by us and to maintain appropriate security standards.
Team Members. Your design content is shared with other members of your workspace according to the permission settings you configure. Workspace administrators have visibility into all projects and members in their workspace.
Business Transfers. If MyNaksh is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or prominent notice on our website before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Legal Requirements. We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request. Where permitted, we will notify you before disclosing your information in response to such requests.
Protection of Rights. We may disclose information to enforce our Terms of Service, protect the rights and safety of our users or the public, or investigate potential violations of our policies.
Aggregated Data. We may share aggregated, de-identified information about usage patterns with partners, analysts, or in marketing materials. This information does not identify individual users.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, or complying with tax obligations). Design files and content in your workspace are retained until you delete them or close your account. Deleted content may persist in backup systems for up to 30 days before being permanently purged.
We implement a comprehensive set of technical and organizational security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include: TLS encryption for all data in transit; AES-256 encryption for data at rest; role-based access controls and multi-factor authentication for internal systems; regular third-party penetration testing; SOC 2 Type II compliance with annual audits; and a dedicated security team responsible for ongoing monitoring and incident response. While we take security seriously and implement industry best practices, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account and to enable multi-factor authentication.

If you access our Services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country. For transfers from the EEA or UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission and the UK Information Commissioner's Office to ensure adequate protection for your personal data.

Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 16 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the platform, remember your preferences, analyze usage, and support marketing. For detailed information about the cookies we use, the purposes for which we use them, and your choices, please see our Cookie Policy.
Our website and platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing any information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the Services, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email (if you have an account with us) and by posting a prominent notice on our website at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the updated policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
