This Cookie Policy explains how MyNaksh, Inc. ("MyNaksh", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit our website at mynaksh.co or use our design platform (collectively, the "Services"). This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, smartphone, or tablet) when you visit a website or use a web application. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to website owners about how their site is being used.
Cookies can be "session cookies" (which expire when you close your browser) or "persistent cookies" (which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them). They can be "first-party cookies" (set by MyNaksh) or "third-party cookies" (set by third parties whose services we use).
Similar technologies include web beacons (small image files used to track user behavior), local storage (browser-based storage for application state), and service workers (scripts that enable offline functionality). We refer to all of these collectively as "cookies" in this policy.
Strictly Necessary Cookies. These cookies are essential for the platform to function correctly. They enable core functionality such as user authentication (keeping you logged in during a session), security (CSRF protection tokens, session integrity), load balancing (routing your requests to the appropriate server), and payment processing (secure transmission of billing information). You cannot opt out of strictly necessary cookies while continuing to use the platform. These cookies do not store any personally identifiable information beyond what is required to maintain your session.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| __session | Maintains your authenticated session | Session |
| __csrf_token | Prevents cross-site request forgery attacks | Session |
| __lb_route | Routes requests to the correct server instance | Session |
| __cookie_consent | Records your cookie consent preferences | 12 months |
Functional Cookies. These cookies enable enhanced functionality and personalization. They remember your preferences so you don't have to re-enter them each session. Examples include: your preferred UI theme (light/dark), the last workspace or project you accessed, sidebar collapse state, zoom level and canvas position preferences, notification settings, and the last-used export format. Declining these cookies will not prevent you from using the platform, but some features may behave less conveniently.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| __theme_pref | Stores your UI theme preference | 12 months |
| __last_workspace | Remembers last active workspace | 30 days |
| __export_fmt | Remembers last-used export format settings | 90 days |
| __onboarding | Tracks onboarding steps completed | 90 days |
Analytics Cookies. We use first-party analytics cookies to understand how the Platform is being used. This information helps us identify performance issues, understand which features are most valuable, prioritize improvements, and measure the effectiveness of changes. We collect aggregated, anonymized data including: pages and features accessed, time spent per session, feature adoption rates, error frequencies, and general usage patterns. We do not use Google Analytics or similar third-party behavioral advertising trackers by default. If you accept analytics cookies, data is processed in aggregate and is not used to create individual user profiles for advertising purposes.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| __mn_analytics | Anonymous session analytics identifier | 12 months |
| __feature_usage | Tracks feature interaction counts for product analytics | 30 days |
| __perf_metrics | Captures performance timing data for optimization | Session |
When you use optional integrations with third-party services (such as design file imports, version control integrations, or project management connectors), those services may set cookies on your device according to their own privacy and cookie policies. We do not control these cookies and are not responsible for them. A non-exhaustive list of third-party integrations that may set cookies includes: Stripe (payment processing), Intercom (customer support chat), and cloud storage providers you explicitly connect to your account.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We do not participate in cross-site behavioral advertising or retargeting networks.
When you first visit our website, a consent banner asks you to accept or decline non-essential cookies (functional and analytics categories). You can change your preferences at any time through your account settings or by clearing cookies in your browser and revisiting the consent banner.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to: view which cookies are set; delete individual cookies or all cookies; block cookies from specific sites; block all third-party cookies; or block all cookies (note: this will prevent you from logging in). Instructions for common browsers: Chrome — Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data; Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data; Safari — Preferences → Privacy; Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
Opting out of analytics cookies does not affect your ability to use the platform. Opting out of functional cookies will result in some personalization preferences not being saved between sessions. You cannot opt out of strictly necessary cookies while continuing to use the platform.
Session cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies are retained for the periods indicated in the tables above. You can delete persistent cookies at any time through your browser settings. When you close your MyNaksh account, we delete any persistent cookies we control within 30 days.
For users in the EEA and UK, we process cookies under the following legal bases: strictly necessary cookies are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a secure, functional service; functional and analytics cookies are processed on the basis of your consent as captured through the cookie consent banner. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.
We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices change or as required by applicable law. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by displaying a new consent banner. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
